Sarah Pozzi acquired a strong admiration for the law as a youngster. While growing up, she would discuss case strategy and facts by the bye with her father, a Washington state attorney. Originally from the Seattle area, Sarah moved to Oregon to pursue her law degree at the University of Oregon. She quickly became interested in procedural issues, and was hired to tutor first-year law students in civil procedure. Excited to explore another Pacific Northwest state, Sarah decided to make Oregon her home. In her free time, Sarah enjoys scouting out new running routes, hiking, snowboarding, and skiing.
Practice & Experience
Prior to joining Bodyfelt Mount as an associate in 2017, Sarah clerked for the Honorable Karsten H. Rasmussen, Presiding Judge of Lane County Circuit Court. There, Sarah worked on procedurally complex motions and cases before the court. During law school, she externed for the Honorable Michael J. McShane in the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon and clerked for the Honorable Charles D. Carlson, Chief Civil Motions Judge of Lane County Circuit Court. Her extensive time spent working in Oregon courts helped Sarah develop a discerning eye with respect to pleadings and motions, and exposed her to effective lawyering strategies within the courthouse.
